Bachelor In Paradise: Fans call Cassandra Mamone ‘mean girl’

‘I’m finding it really difficult to watch this!’ Bachelor In Paradise fans call Cassandra Mamone out for being a ‘mean girl’ and ‘putting Niranga Amarasinghe down’ during their date

Bachelor In Paradise’s Cassandra Mamone has been slammed by fans for being cruel to Niranga Amarasinghe on Wednesday night.

After reluctantly going on a date, the jewellery designer, 34, repeatedly told Niranga, 28, the pair were ‘just friends’ and insisted he ‘move on to someone else’.

Fans have called out Cassandra’s ‘cruel and vile’ behaviour, labelling her as the ‘mean girl’.

‘I actually have #BachelorInParadiseAU on mute because the vile stuff coming out of Cass’ mouth upsets me. Someone tell me what her jewellery brand is so I avoid it,’ one person tweeted.

‘Cass’ behaviour is repulsive,’ another said. ‘Cass has MAJOR, MAJOR mean girl vibes’ another person agreed.

Another commented: ‘I’m finding it really difficult to watch Cass – she is saying really horrible things about Niranga. Does being “friends” with someone mean bitching about them behind their back and treating them like dirt to Cass?’

‘Why is Cass being so savage? It’s fine to not be romantically interested in someone but man like you don’t have to be mean,’ one person commented.

On Wednesday night, Niranga invited Cassandra on a date but she made it clear she wasn’t interested in pursuing a relationship with him.

The jewellery designer arrived to the date in a T-shirt and denim shorts and she told producers she was ‘only there for the free food’.

After the pair were given a fire-throwing lesson, Cassandra brutally shut Niranga down.

‘You’re never getting out of the friend zone. I don’t want to continue in Paradise and pretend to be something we’re not, and have affections for each other when we don’t,’ she said.

‘I think it would be wrong to continue giving friendship roses when now I’m just not seeing any potential at all moving forward,’ she added.
