Channel Nine announced its decision to reboot Beauty And The Geek Australia during it’s Upfront media event in September 2020.

And it would appear the series is close to wrapping its 2021 season.

On Wednesday night, the show’s host Sophie Monk was seen promoting the series at a Sydney venue with reality TV stars in the audience.

The blonde bombshell, 41, was on stage with a large Beauty And The Geek Australia banner behind her as she introduced what was to come while looking ahead.

‘We’re going to show before and afters now, are you ready?’ she said, holding a clipboard in her hand.

One screen right of stage revealed the night was a ‘media and marketing’s trivia and transformation challenge’, which may have given a sneak peek of the 2021 star’s transformations ahead of it airing on Nine.

Josh said to his fans: ‘So apparently tonight, me and Amelia are judging transformations for a Beauty And The Geek contest.’

‘They’ve got some of the best in the business to judge… and we don’t really know what we’re doing,’ he joked with a laughing Amelia.

Amelia also shared footage from the event as she sat next to Nine’s MAFS bride Lizzie Sobinoff.

Sophie had encouraged fans looking for love to lodge their applications while they still had the chance in an Instagram video in November.

‘I’m so excited to be hosting Beauty and the Geek, one of my favourite shows,’ the former Bachelorette said at the time.

According to Endemol Shine, producers were hunting for a bevy of ‘big-hearted beauties and geeky guys’ to pair up and compete for a cash prize.

Filming was set to last for up to seven weeks between mid January and early March 2021.
