Jon won over the panel after performing a comedic song about his dream of winning the show, after years of honing his craft.

In particular he also paid tributes to his two sons, who encouraged him to audition for the show.

After a thunderous reaction from the audience Jon was joined by his sons on-stage, with Amanda Holden praising: ‘Jon you’ve made me fall to bits, I just saw a man who made all his dreams come true.’

Beth Porch, 25, had already earned the panel’s respect even before her audition began, revealing she worked as an NHS nurse who sang to children at Great Ormond Street Hospital.

Her emotional song, titled You Taught Me What Love Is, was inspired by her experiences over five years on the cancer ward at the London hospital, and has since been released as a single to raise money for NHS charities.

Beth has since returned to her nursing job on the frontline in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, having filmed her audition back in January months before the lockdown.
