EXCLUSIVE: Sonia Kruger’s secret connection to Big Brother housemate Marissa Rancan revealed… as multiple contestants confess they knew each other before filming
It isn’t just some of the Big Brother housemates that knew each other before filming.
Daily Mail Australia can reveal that Sonia Kruger had previously met Marissa Rancan, and the former aerobics instructor-turned-makeup artist gushed over the ‘beautiful’ host last year.
Marissa glammed the Channel Seven star up ahead of an event in June 2018.

Marissa shared a throwback selfie of the pair to Instagram last June, happily reminiscing about working with Sonia, whom she described as a ‘beautiful human’.
‘This time last year I had the privilege of doing the gorgeous and talented Sonia Kruger’s makeup before she headed off to the Logies. What a beautiful human inside and out,’ she wrote on her professional account.
It’s believed that the two women only met once when Sonia visited a Sydney department store that Marissa previously worked in.
She was never part of the Seven host’s glam squad, and had simply asked her for a selfie.

Neither of them appeared to remember they’d met before when Sonia welcomed Marissa to the Big Brother house on Monday’s episode.
During Wednesday’s episode of Big Brother, Sarah McDouglas revealed that she already knew intruder housemate Hannah Campbell.
She explained that the pair had met during the show’s lengthy audition process.
Sarah later told Big Brother that she’d found Hannah ‘rude’, ‘not nice’ and a ‘try-hard’ during their initial meeting, and slammed the newcomer to her co-stars.

He said he saw Allan as a potential threat and immediately decided to vote him out. Allan was evicted during Tuesday’s episode, after being nominated by Garth.
