Big Brother star reveals his Instagram DMs have blown up

EXCLUSIVE: Big Brother geek Michael Brown reveals his Instagram DMs have blown up despite his short-lived appearance on the reality show

He’s the geeky marketing consultant who was evicted from the Big Brother house during Sunday night’s episode.

And following his eviction, Michael told Daily Mail Australia that since appearing on the Channel Seven show, his inbox has been inundated with bizarre messages.

‘I’ve had really awkward moments actually. I am the only one on the show without a six-pack abs, not the one with model looks so I wasn’t expecting it,’ he said.

Who knew? Big Brother geek Michael Brown, 29, (pictured) has revealed his Instagram DM’s have blown up despite his short-lived appearance on Seven reality show

‘Some interesting messages have come through which I don’t know how to respond to, because I wouldn’t know how to respond to to them in real life.’

‘I guess it is flattering. It’s funny. It’s great – but also unexpected, because I’m not that person who came in looking for that.’

While his Big Brother journey may be  over, Michael hasn’t ruled out the possibility of signing up for another reality show in the future.

Maybe even one that involves matters of the heart to help him find The One.

‘You know, I’m honestly happy to say that I need the help, and I don’t know if I could do [it] alone,’ Michael said.

‘Maybe putting my awkwardness out there and there is someone that is kind of into that, I would love to meet them,’ he continued. ‘I’m 29, and not getting younger.’

Michael was sent packing after he received a whopping total of nine votes.

The winners of Sunday night’s team challenge – Mitch, Daniel, Carlos, Marley, Christopher, SJ, Jess, Charlotte and Christina – made a group decision to put Michael, Mary and Tilly up for nomination.

During the episode the housemates went head-to-head in teams made from a random draw.

The winning team were safe from eviction and required to nominate three housemates from the losing team to leave the house.

Following his eviction, Michael said: I thought I had the numbers so I shouldn’t go on attack mode. I don’t think the plane crew is as solid as it once was.’

He continued: ‘The dynamics have shifted and people are going to do what they have to do to stay in the game. Daniel wants Tilly in because he thinks he can manipulate her but Tilly is not a silly girl.’

‘She’s incredibly smart. They may never get an opportunity to nominate her again and that’s the mistake.’

Big Brother continues Monday at 7.30pm on Seven
