It has gone down as one of the most iconic Big Brother moments ever.

And viewers relived the cringeworthy moment George Galloway was asked to impersonate a cat during a memorable task with Rula Lenska during Sunday night’s episode of Big Brother: Best Ever Shows.

The former MP, 65, was seen nibbling from the actress’ hands as he took on the role of a cat while Rula acted as a human, during a human and animal interaction task.

Omg! Viewers relived the cringeworthy moment George Galloway was asked to impersonate a cat during a memorable task with Rula Lenska

George was seen uttering the now infamous words ‘would you like me to be the cat?’, before getting down on all fours and purring at Rula.

Rula then lifted her hands and mimicked the shape of a bowl, while George lapped up the invisible milk from the palm of her hands.

The duo were asked to complete the task as part of the houses’ weekly shopping task in order to gain food for themselves and their housemates.

Reliving the moment which first aired in 2006, viewers hid behind their hands as they watched the awkward moment unfold again.

It comes after Big Brother shot down claims they are reviving the series next year following the success of Best Shows Ever.

It had been reported over the weekend that Davina was in talks to host a revival of Celebrity Big Brother in 2021.

However, production company EndemolShine told MailOnline that there was ‘no truth’ in the story, dashing the hopes of avid Big Brother fans.

It's back? Davina was reportedly in talks to host a revival of Celebrity Big Brother in 2021, following the success of look-back series Best Shows Ever

In a statement released to MailOnline, a spokesperson said: ‘I can confirm that there is no truth in this story.

‘EndemolShine the production company has had no talks with Davina re reviving the Celebrity series and no future series has been commissioned.’

The statement came after The Daily Star on Sunday reported that bosses are keen for Davina, 52, to front a star-studded edition of the iconic reality show, following the success of its Best Shows Ever, which looked back at some of the series’ most iconic episodes.

Davina hosted Big Brother and its Celebrity spin-offs from 2000 to 2010, before the series was axed by Channel 4, and moved to Channel 5 in 2011.

Sources told The Daily Star on Sunday bosses at Channel 4 and Endemol are willing to pay Davina a huge sum to host the show again.

Emma Willis – who hosted Big Brother during its stint on Channel 5 – was reportedly considered, but Channel 4 bosses worried it would clash with her commitments for their other reality series The Circle.

An insider said: ‘Davina has been approached about the potential of returning to present Celebrity Big Brother again.

‘She is the undisputed queen of the show, so it would be a dream to have her back. They’re prepared to work everything around her if it means getting her on board. And of course, there will be a healthy pay cheque on offer.’

Noting that Davina’s decision to host the look-back series must mean she still loves the show, the source added: ‘Execs hope that means she’ll jump at the chance to present a revival if it happens.’

They added it’s likely any revival would air on E4 rather than the main channel.

Big Brother’s Best Shows Ever has been a surprise hit for E4 as Davina and Rylan Clark-Neal look back at some of the show’s most iconic episodes.

Along with various episodes from the civilian series, celebrity highlights have included George Galloway’s infamous cat impression, Jackie Stallone’s iconic entrance and Ulrika Jonsson’s toe-curling duet with Verne Troyer.

As well as hosting the main show, Davina also hosted spin-off Big Brother’s Big Mouth from 2009 to 2010.

Since ending her reign as host a decade ago, Davina has gone onto host an array of other shows, including Million Pound Drop, The Jump and Long Lost Family.

During its time on Channel 5, viewership for series of Celebrity Big Brother seemed higher than that of the civilian series, especially given the star-studded editions were aired twice a year.
