Blake Lively shares her ‘birthday highlights’ as she turns 33 in quarantine

Blake Lively turned 33 on Tuesday.

And the Gossip Girl star shared some ‘birthday highlights’ to her Instagram Story on Wednesday evening.

‘Thank you to everyone who made it special. I love you,’ wrote Lively, whose first upload showed a trail of multi-colored gift wrap bows on her floor. 

Blake was then treated to a delicious ‘homemade McMuffin,’ which was drenched in ‘ALLLL the Sriracha mayonnaise,’ just how she likes.

Instead of a traditional birthday cake, she purchased an assortment of gelato from her favorite shop Laboratorio Del Gelato in NYC.

The hoards of gelato came in a variety of flavors, including ‘Birthday Cake’ and ‘Thai Tea.’ 

‘Telling myself I bought so many to support one of my favorite NYC small businesses. But the reasons were most selfish,’ she captioned, along with an Alice In Wonderland gif. 

Lively, who is married to fellow actor Ryan Reynolds, 43, could hardly contain herself, while showing off the awesome 90s themed gift she received from one of her close pals.

‘I’ve never felt so seen,’ she wrote, as she gave her 27.2million followers a glimpse at the nostalgic present.

Packaged in a Caboodle, the gift consisted of an early Britney Spears CD, gel pens, gaudy barrettes, neon bracelets, and seemingly endless varieties of sugary sweets.

Celebrity jewelry designer Lorraine Schwartz gave Blake a gorgeous set of gold, geometric earrings and a sparkling gold ring.

The Age Of Adeline star included a declined FaceTime call screenshot to her Instagram Story that showed her modeling the priceless pieces. 

Another jewelry designer pal Jennifer Meyer took her gift to an even more sentimental level by creating a necklace for Blake that included all three of the actress’ daughters’ names. 

Blake, who shares all three girls James, five, Inez, three, and Betty, 10-months with husband Ryan, seemed overwhelmed with emotion over the incredibly thoughtful pendant.

She went on to upload a few more snapshots to her Instagram Story that mostly consisted of delicious desserts and treats, specifically a beloved pastry from Ross Bread Shoppe and Coffee House.

‘Yup. I know. Impossible. More food. Thank God we have 13 family and friends quarantining with us,’ wrote Lively. 

Blake, Ryan, and their three daughters have been enduring a strict lockdown at their NYC home amid the looming coronavirus pandemic.

Despite being out of the spotlight, Blake and Ryan have recently found themselves making headlines due to the clever way their third daughter Betty’s name was revealed.

The child’s name was entirely unknown from her birth in October of 2019 to the release of Taylor Swift’s new album Folklore on July 24.

In Swift’s track Betty, she utilized the names of Blake’s other two daughter James and Inez. So, this immediately had fans connecting the dots. 

And during a recent radio snippet, the Blank Space singer confirmed that the characters in the song were named after Lively’s daughters.

I named all the characters in this story after my friends’ kids… and I hope you like it!’ said Swift, who has been close with Blake since 2014.
