‘It was a great song!’: Bonnie Tyler baffles fans as she forget the name of her new album during awkward TV interview
Bonnie Tyler baffled fans on Wednesday as she forgot the name of her album during an interview on Loose Women.
The Welsh singer, 69, struggled to remember the titles of her recent music releases as she shifted between different topics including the state of her hair and her brief encounter with the Pope.
Host Ruth Langsford, 61, said to the star: ‘We will talk to you about the album which is out now but are you always looking for that huge ballad?’

Bonnie responded: ‘Oh I have a wonderful songwriter at the moment called Steve Womack.
‘I actually have quite a few wonderful songwriters, Desmond Child as well, and they’ve written me fabulous songs on my new album which is called, erm…’ Bonnie stalled as she searched her brain for the name of her new album.
‘The Best Is Yet To Come,’ she said as the Loose Women panellists prompted the name in unision before bursting out in laughter.

Ruth added: ‘I was thinking, shall I help her?’
Bonnie soldiered on: ‘Honestly, I’ve got some great songs on there and I always pick a song on there where I think, “is this going to work live with my band?” And oh, I can’t wait to get out there. God my hair looks terrible today!’
She went on to discuss meeting the Pope in 2019 while mentioning a track she recorded around the same time.
‘I had just recorded a song called…erm… oh god! I just had recalled a song called… oh fr****n’ hell. Anyway, it was a great song,’ she said as the hosts in the Loose Women studio chuckled once more.

Ruth added: ‘I was just looking it up for you Bonnie and it was called Stuck To My Guns.’

‘Yikes, Bonnie couldn’t remember the name of her new album [laughing face emoji],’ said one fan.
‘”My new album is called erm er erm.” It’s obviously really good if you can’t even remember the name of it love #loosewomen,’ another Twitter user added.
A third viewer penned: ‘Does Bonnie have Alzheimer’s?’ while a fourth quipped: ‘Bonnie seems good fun. Off her rocker though [smiley face emoji].’
