Boris Becker was spotted heading to the barbers for a cut and dye on Thursday, after lockdown restrictions were finally eased.

The former tennis star, 52, was joined by his girlfriend Yoana Montero as he visited the salon in London to have his hair dyed back to its famous white blond and given a trim.

On Saturday the nation rejoiced as hairdressers and barber shops were finally allowed to reopen after being forced to close for three months due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Boris cut a casual figure in light-washed jeans, a grey shirt and leather jacket as he headed to the barbers.

The sporting legend hit his uncut hair under a baseball cap before settling into the barber’s chair.

Along with having his hair coloured back to its signature white blond, at one point it seemed Boris was going to have a mohawk as the barber pulled his hair up ready for the snip.

He was later joined by his girlfriend Yoanna, who seemed thrilled with his new look before they exited the barber’s together and jumped into a waiting taxi.

Yoana was looking effortlessly stylish in a red blazer and skinny jeans, along with chunky heels.

Staff at the barber’s were well-covered with PPE as they applied the dye to Boris’ head before giving it a neat trim.

Staff were required to wear PPE, and had to limit bookings or entries to adhere to distancing measures.

It was a day dubbed Super Saturday as pubs, bars, restaurants, cafes, libraries, museums and galleries were among the public areas allowed to reopen.

However gyms, theatres, nightclubs, beauty salons and nail bars remain closed during lockdown, with dates for reopening yet to be revealed.
