Take That and Boyzone combined on Thursday as respective frontmen Gary Barlow and Ronan Keating took to social media to perform a duet.

The crooners linked up via video chat from their homes, where they are self-isolating amid the coronavirus pandemic, and vowed to keep others in the same situation entertained.

Gary, 49, and Ronan, 43, sang a rendition of Tracy Chapman’s Baby Can I Hold You – which Boyzone themselves covered in 1997.

Ronan posted the video to his Instagram page, captioning it ‘GB&RK #Thecroonersessions’ suggesting there might be more to come from the pair as the global health crisis continues.

He added: ‘A virtual Hug for ya all. Two mates missing each other’s company. Love this man and his talent. #RKTwentyTwenty.’

Fans went wild for it, including famous faces such as Ronan’s fellow Irish native Laura Whitmore.
