Brad Pitt set to cameo in upcoming romantic action comedy Lost City of D starring Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum

Brad Pitt, 57, and Sandra Bullock, 56, are playing tag with upcoming cameos in each other’s movies.

The Oscar winning actor is set to make a cameo in Bullock’s romantic action comedy Lost City of D, The Hollywood Reporter said on Thursday.

His minor role in the flick comes after Sandra similarly made a cameo in Pitt’s action film Bullet Train.

According to THR, it was the Miss Congeniality star herself who is to thank for this A-list cameo.

Since Sandra is also serving as a producer on the forthcoming Paramount flick, she ‘saw an opportunity for a fun casting, she reached out to her pal, who said yes.’

Specifics surrounding Brad’s small role in the film are being kept under wraps at the this time.

Lost City of D sees Bullock back to her rom-com roots as a romance novelist who ends up in the midst of an attempted kidnapping while stuck on a book tour with her novel’s cover model, Channing Tatum.

This will make the second project that Pitt and Bullock are working on together, though not as co-headliners.

In February Deadline reported that the Birdbox actress accepted a role in Pitt’s action film Bullet Train, based on the 2010 Japanese novel Maria Beetle by Kotaro Isaka.

Bullet Train will mark the first time the pair of Academy Award winners will work together on the big screen.

On the list are Hollywood veterans Harrison Ford, Brad Pitt, Halle Berry, Reese Witherspoon, Don Cheadle, Renee Zellweger, Regina King, Joaquin Phoenix, Rita Moreno, Laura Dern and Zendaya, Angela Bassett, Bryan Cranston, Marlee Matlin and last year´s best director winner Bong Joon Ho.

After delaying two months due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Oscars are forging ahead with an in-person show in two locations, the Dolby Theater and Los Angeles’ Union Station.

It’ll be a scaled back affair, with only presenters, nominees and their guest in attendance, but the producers are working to make it a must-see event amid critically low ratings for other awards shows during the pandemic.

The 93rd Oscars will be broadcast live on ABC on April 25 at 8 p.m. Eastern.
