He is taking on the role of Pop Larkin in the latest remake of The Darling Buds Of May.
And Bradley Walsh was pictured in character on set on Friday as he donned a blue shirt, a checkered tie and a grey waistcoat.
The Chase Host, 60, sported the signature sideburns made famous by Sir David Jason, who played Pop Larkin in the original ITV series in the 1990s.

He held his suit jacket over his arm and what looked like a script in his hand as he strolled around the set.
In a statement after his role as Pop Larkin was announced, the actor commented: ‘I’m thrilled to be asked to be part of this much loved and iconic series of stories.
‘The warmth and affection that HE Bates has generated through his books is so uplifting and I cannot wait to be part of the Larkin family. It’ll be a hoot!’

Remake: The new series of The Darling Buds Of May, now called The Larkins, is set in the Kent countryside, the family drama follows the lives of The Larkins and their six children
The new six-part series will be shown on ITV but this time it is called The Larkins and will be penned by ‘The Durrells’ writer Simon Nye.
Set in the Kent countryside, the family drama follows the lives of The Larkins and their six children who navigate their idyllic life while dealing with threats from government officials.
It comes after it was announced earlier this month that Bridgerton star Sabrina Bartlett will play Pop Larkin’s daughter Mariette Larkin in the new TV version of HE Bates’ novels.

Speaking to the Radio Times, Sabrina revealed she was ‘really REALLY excited’ to be appearing in the remake, saying: ‘I can’t wait to bring these heart-warming stories to life alongside such a wonderful team. It’s just the perfect dose of escapism we all need right now.’
Also among the cast is Joanna Scanlan, 59, who takes over from Pam Ferris as Pop’s wife Ma Larkin.

David introduced his catchphrase ‘Perfick’ on the show and followed him and his wife Ma and their children in all their antics.
