Let’s get physical! Britney Spears has been using Instagram to keep her fans active and positive amid the current coronavirus lockdown

She was then seen performing thrusts, planks and crunches on her lawn as well as on the driveway.

Clad in a neon green sports bra and tiny shorts, the Gimme More singer tied her blonde locks back from her features as she performed in the sunshine.

She wrote alongside this: ‘I’m trying to stay active y’all… Keep your spirits high and try and stay balanced ☀️

‘I’m actually only showing you guys half of the workout… I do 3 sets of 100 for the abs which isn’t shown. I know most people do their own thing when it comes to working out…. but I like to see what other people are doing myself so I thought I’d share my routine!

Britney posted an Instagram message previous to this in which she appeared to endorse progressive ideals like redistributing wealth and a general strike.

She asked for unity and ‘connection’ as she shared a text post online on Monday.

But the message, captioned, ‘Communion moves beyond walls,’ also implored fans to make radical moves like striking as a political tactic.

‘During this time of isolation, we need connection now more than ever,’ the orange backgrounded block of text credited to writer Mimi Zhu read.

‘Call your loved ones, write virtual love letters. Technologies like virtual communication, streaming and broadcasting are part of our community collaboration,’ the Work B**** singer’s post went on.

‘We will learn to kiss and hold each other through the waves of the web,’ it continued.

The message became more political, continuing: ‘We will feed each other, re-destribute [sic] wealth, strike. We will understand our own importance from the places we must stay. Communion moves beyond walls. We can still be together.’

Other fans also went wild in the comments, with one user writing: ‘Queen of [the] proletariat.’
