‘The plot where she is gardening by herself used to be derelict and the size of two tennis courts!

‘But about four years ago Caprice and her husband Ty Comfort decided to spent £120,000 of their own money to transform the plot into a beautiful community garden, which is near their home, for all of the local residents to enjoy.

Revealing the community now use the area to exercise, they added: ‘It was a really nice thing for them to do for the neighbourhood and a whole team of volunteers got together at the time to clear the site and transform it with 40 bespoke bird boxes, a pergola, park benches and a variety of shrubs, trees and flowers.

‘Now garden centres are open Caprice has bought some new plants and flowers to freshen up the space and add a bit of colour for the summer.

Last month, the Dancing On Ice star donated £250K of her own money to support domestic abuse charity Woman’s Trust during COVID-19.

The blonde beauty has been working with the Westminster division for eight years after a close friend was in an abusive relationship and still receives therapy to this day.

Caprice hopes to raise awareness of the charity during the pandemic after the charity received 2,000 calls in the first three weeks of April.

A source told MailOnline: ‘Everyone that knows Caprice is aware she has no tolerance for any kind of abuse or bullying and eight years ago she committed herself to Woman’s Trust to help fund the Westminster division.

‘So far she has single-handedly helped keep the Westminster branch open having donated nearly a quarter of a million pounds from her own private funds.’
