Dancing With The Stars’ judge Carrie Ann Inaba revealed she has tested positive for coronavirus in a new Instagram video, which showed her hoarsely coughing. 

After the CBS’ The Talk co-host detailed her ongoing battle with COVID-19, she urged her followers to stay vigilant about wearing masks, physical distancing and regular hand-washing. 

‘I’m home with some symptoms and will be sequestering as per the CDC guidelines, resting and taking care of myself,’ the 52-year-old dancer captioned her footage.

She continued: ‘I have been in a very safe environment following all the guidelines and safety protocols and it still found it’s way to me. So, this is a friendly reminder to be extra careful this holiday season.’ 

In addition, she reminded fans to wear their masks and promised to share updates of her health journey, but told them not to ‘worry’ or be alarmed.  

Despite suffering from a fever, ‘bad’ cough and ‘lots of aches and pains,’ she assured her nearly 400,000 followers she was taking good care of herself.

In Inaba’s recordings, she appeared tired and wore little to no makeup, while laying in bed and clearing her throat. 

Her videos prompted messages from a number of her Dancing with the Stars’ costars and former contestants, including Anne Heche, Emma Slater and Kaitlyn Bristowe, who most recently took home the coveted Mirrorball Trophy. 

‘Thinking of you,’ the 35-year-old former Bachelorette commented, meanwhile Heche said she hoped Inaba felt ‘better soon.’

Inaba’s longtime pal, Kelly Ripa, also expressed her concern, writing: ‘Oh no honey. I wish I could take care of you. I love you. Rest.’  

‘Ohhhh nooooo!! Take care and rest and sending you tons of love,’ Jenna Dewan also commented. 

Chrishell Stause also stepped into the comment section writing: ‘Ugh so sorry -sending you lots of love your way!! Feel better soon! Xoxo.’

Amanda Kloots, who recently landed a TV gig as a new co-host of CBS daytime chat show The Talk alongside Inaba, sent her love and prayers. 

Kloots and journalist Elaine Welteroth are joining The Talk for the 11th season as replacements for the departed co-hosts Eve and Marie Osmond. 

They’ll make their debut alongside Sheryl Underwood, Sharon Osbourne, and Inaba when the new season kicks off on January 4.
