She recently admitted that she loves ‘skinny dipping’ as it ‘feels lovely’. 

But Catherine Tyldesley made sure to cover her birthday suit in stylish white clothing on Friday as she swapped her daring hobby for a relaxing day at home. 

The actress, 37, revealed a glimpse of her toned stomach in her quilted co-ord which boasted frilled fabric and a drawstring waistband.

She added a golden touch with delicate necklaces and swept her blonde tresses up in a high bun. 

Catherine enhanced her visage with soft make-up as she worked her best angles in a series of Instagram snaps.  

Earlier this week, the soap star admitted that her most recent skinny dip was during a ‘really quiet’ time and that she would do it more often if she wasn’t in the public eye.

Talking on Russell Kane’s Are Men More Reckless Than Women? podcast, she insisted that it is ‘quite a natural’ thing to do as you feel ‘so free’.

The actress confessed: ‘I went skinny dipping not that long ago but it was dead at the time, it was really, really quiet. 

‘There’s nothing like skinny dipping, it’s great. You feel so free,’ she hilariously added of the daring pastime: ‘Free floating mum boobs, all day!’

Catherine admitted that she would go skinny dipping more often if she wasn’t in the public eye, she confessed: ‘I think I would. It’s quite a natural thing. It’s lovely.’

Elsewhere, the actress, who is married to Tom Pitfield, was asked by podcast host Russell whether she would sleep with a holiday fling without contraception.

To which the soap star joked: ‘If you’d have asked the younger me, I’m a completely different person to what I was when I was, like, at drama school. Those were very open times.’ 

Catherine hilariously added: ‘I was quite reckless when I was younger but that’s for the kids now. I’m quite happy being boring.’

The star tied the knot with husband Tom in 2016 and they welcomed son Alfie, five, in 2015.

Only recently, Catherine revealed what motivated her to lose a staggering eight stone when she was a teenager. 

The former Coronation Street actress did a Q and A on Instagram and was asked by one follower: ‘What motivated you to lose so much weight’. 

Sharing before and after comparison snaps, Catherine said: ‘I couldn’t walk up the stairs without gasping for breath.

‘I had zero energy and my skin was terrible. Educating myself on nutrition was the best thing I ever did.

Catherine shared a throwback snap of herself as a teenager, where she was a dress size 22 alongside a photo of her following her staggering weight loss in a bikini on the beach.  

Catherine has spoken openly about her weight loss in recent years, having lost a staggering six stone before joining the cast of Corrie.

Dropping from a size 22 to a size 8-10, the soap star previously said that she struggled to control her weight as a teenager, and said in 2013 she was motivated to shift the pounds after being told by a director she was too fat to play a leading lady.

Catherine went onto drop another two stone after giving birth to her son Alfie in 2015, and in 2018 unveiled her transformation after a 12-week fitness regime.
