Channel Nine psychic Harry T offers advice amid coronavirus pandemic

Channel Nine psychic Harry T claims you can ‘boost your immune system through prayer’ amid the coronavirus pandemic – as one viewer asks why HE didn’t see it coming

Today Extra’s resident psychic Harry T has encouraged his Instagram followers to ‘visualise healing energy’ and think positively amid the spread of coronavirus.

The Channel Nine contributor also claimed on Monday that meditation and prayer can help boost your immune system.

While there has been some research into the link between mindfulness meditation and the immune system, prayer won’t prevent a person from contracting COVID-19.

There is no cure for COVID-19. To reduce the spread of the disease, the Australian government is urging people to practise good hygiene and social distancing and to self-isolate if they have any symptoms of coronavirus.

Harry T’s full Instagram post on Monday read: ‘We are in an unprecedented global crisis right now. There’s no question about that! However, in times like this, it is so important to stay in a loving frame of mind.

‘Practice meditation and prayer to help boost your immune system and visualise healing energy being sent throughout the world. Pray for the world to heal, and go wash your hands.’

When a follower asked Harry why he hadn’t predicted the coronavirus outbreak – he is a psychic, after all – he responded: ‘Sylvia Browne actually did see this coming and did warn the “fellow man” many years ago!’

Sylvia Browne was an American psychic who died in 2013 at the age of 77.

In 2008, she released a book titled End of Days: Predictions and Prophecies about the End of the World, in which she appeared to predict the spread of coronavirus.

She wrote in the book: ‘In around 2020 a severe pneumonia-like illness will spread throughout the globe, attacking the lungs and the bronchial tubes and resisting all known treatments.’

Stars such as Kim Kardashian have shared the seemingly prophetic extract on social media.

Harry T’s Instagram post comes after Nine’s Willoughby studios were rocked by coronavirus fears last week.

Tom Hanks’ wife, Rita Wilson, who tested positive for coronavirus on Thursday alongside her husband, had visited the Today Extra set on March 9.

Several of the show’s presenters, including David Campbell, Belinda Russell and Rebecca Maddern, are now self-isolating and getting tested.

Weekend Today host Richard Wilkins was diagnosed with COVID-19 on Sunday, after meeting Rita backstage at the Sydney Opera House on Saturday, March 7.

Tom and Rita were released from hospital on the Gold Coast this week and are now self-quarantining in a rented home.
