Chet Hanks says ‘don’t believe the fake news’ as he’s accused of domestic abuse by ex Kiana Parker

Chet Hanks urged his 495K Instagram followers to not ‘believe the fake news’ in a new Instagram video doubling as an advertisement for his new White Boy Summer music video and clothing line.

The 30-year-old rapper and son of Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson appeared shirtless in the clip as he played his own hype man to his new music video, which he released on Tuesday.

His defiant video arrives after TMZ reported that his ex-girlfriend Kiana Parker’s $1 million lawsuit against him for alleged domestic abuse could end up being for a significantly larger amount of monty.

In the video, Chet shows off his tattoos and fit torso while dancing in front of a television screen playing his new White Boy Summer video.

He sips on a can of beer while doubling his rap from the song with some barking interjections.

‘DONT BELIEVE THE #FAKENEWS,’ read his all-caps caption.

‘#WBS [White Boy Summer] OH WE LIT LIT… YOU FEEL THE ENERGY LETS GET IT,’ he continued, before urging his fans to check out his merchandise.

By ‘#FAKENEWS,’ he was presumably referring to reports about his ex Parker’s lawsuit against him and her claims that he abused her while they were together.

On Tuesday, TMZ shared a clarification from Parker’s attorney explaining that her $1 million request in the suit was arbitrary and could be increased.

‘We attempted to privately reach out to the Hanks family to resolve this, but they decided to take it directly to the media,’ they claimed. ‘Our team was left no choice, this was the right time to file this lawsuit.

‘As a procedural rule, we must choose a category as it relates to a dollar amount, however no monetary demand has been made at this time,’ they added, meaning that the requested amount could change.

Expensive: Later on Tuesday, TMZ quoted Parker's lawyers as saying that her $1 million request in the lawsuit is just a placeholder and could be significantly increased in the future

The outlet previously shared video that Hanks filmed a disturbing video of the aftermath of a confrontation between the two that showed him with a trickle of blood running down his face from what appeared to be a scalp wound.

He claimed in the video from January of this year that Parker had threatened him with a knife, and then she’s seen appearing to swipe at him while holding a pot as the image goes black.

When Hanks reappears, he has blood on his face and he claims that Parker attacked him with a knife, which she loudly denies in the background.

Now Parker is suing Hanks for $1 million in Texas, where the alleged assault occurred, claiming that he assaulted her multiple times from October 2020 and January 2021.

She explains the bloody incident by claiming that Hanks rushed at her with a knife and that she hit him with a pot in self defense.

She details one alleged incident taking place in New Orleans in October 2020, from when Chet was there to film Your Honor.

According to her, the rapper got angry after she said she was leaving their hotel room and allegedly grabbed her wrists and arms and threw her around the room, turning over multiple tables in the commotion.

She claims he told her she wouldn’t be believed if she told anyone because he was ‘Chet Hanks’ and she was ‘just a ghetto Black bitch.’

She also says that Hanks threatened to murder her and then himself a month after the alleged incident in the hotel room while her children were inside of his house in Sugar Land, Texas.

Hanks’ attorney Marty Singer disputed Parker’s claims in a statement to TMZ.

‘We consider the claims filed by Kiana Parker to be a shakedown. The lawsuit filed by Ms Parker is in response to the lawsuit filed by Chet Hanks against Ms Parker on March 4, 2021.’

The lawyer said that the bloody video shows the ‘undisputed’ truth of the incident and adds that ‘Her claims are completely false, fabricated and fictional.’
