Christian Bale made the most of a day off from filming the new Thor movie in Sydney on Wednesday.
Despite the rainy weather, the 47-year-old actor headed over to a local beach with his six-year-old son, Joseph.
The Dark Knight star was dressed casually in a pair of navy blue cargo shorts, which he paired with a white T-shirt.

Christian kept warm with a black sports jacket, as he walked barefoot along the wet sand.
At one stage, he draped what appeared to have been his son’s hooded blue jacket over one of his shoulders.
Proving that the rain wasn’t a deterrent, Christian took his time walking along the beach, even stopping to take photos on his phone.
