Christie Brinkley takes photos of the stormy weather as she prepares for Tropical Storm Isaias

Christie Brinkley appeared to be taking photos of the stormy weather as she prepared for Tropical Storm Isaias on Tuesday.

The actress, 66, was seen standing at the edge of the boardwalk in the Hamptons, holding out her phone to capture the scene.

The strong wind whipped her blonde hair about as she took a snap of the gloomy skies overhead. 

Once she was down, she returned to her car, wiping her windswept hair out of her face.

Christie wore a cropped top, black leggings, red flip flops, and what appeared to be a sunflower print face mask dangling beneath her chin. 

The storm has already devastated parts of the region, but the area Christie was in appeared untouched.

Still, the actress prepared herself for the incoming weather.

Christie revealed she had been moving her cars parked beneath trees, charging her batteries, and harvesting her vegetables on Instagram.

‘Baton Down The Hatches Mateys!’ she wrote in the caption of several flower snaps. ‘Storm front coming! Picking my flowers, harvesting my veggies and closing umbrellas, charging batteries, moving cars from under tree branches.

‘Hope everyone stays safe in this fast moving storm! PS. Lucky Blue Jay feather!!!’

Overall, Christie seems to be in good spirits as usual.   

On Monday she shared a joyful video of herself skipping beside a marsh with a huge smile on her face.

‘Put smile on your face, a song in your heart, and a spring in your step! Those are the marching orders for this glorious day! she captioned the clip.
