Claims The Bachelor’s Kaitlyn Hoppe and Marg Zogoulas have paid for hundreds of followers on Instagram
The Bachelor’s Kaitlyn Hoppe, 26, and Marg Zogoulas, 23, have built up a strong presence on Instagram, thanks to their curated selfies and enviable lifestyle.
But it appears their social media numbers could be potentially misleading.
Kaitlyn’s social media following could be made up of almost 3,000 fake fans, according to an audit report by FakeCheck.co.
The numbers don’t lie? Claims The Bachelor’s Kaitlyn Hoppe (pictured) and Marg Zogoulas have paid for hundreds of followers on Instagram
The site claims Kaitlyn’s social engagement doesn’t add up to the number of followers she has, with many of her past photos failing to get over 300 likes.
Eagle-eye fans have noticed both Kaitlyn and Marg’s total number of followers have also jumped by the hundreds over the last few days.
In some instances, they’ve even climbed to as much as 1,000 new followers, only to decline a few hours later.

Without a visible ‘like count’, influencers may be able to fabricate their numbers in a bid to secure lucrative endorsements, and the deceit is not as easily detected.
Daily Mail Australia can reveal they are both followed by multiple false profiles, and robot accounts.
Indications of false profiles are usually attributed to usernames with strange combinations of numbers and letters in usernames, or random images on their feed.

Suddenly unpopular? Meanwhile, Marg Zogoulas, 23, (pictured) appeared to have lost hundreds of fans overnight, fueling speculation she paid for cheap Instagram followers
As of Monday, frontrunner Bella Varelis, 25, is the most followed star with an impressive 49,480 Instagram followers.
Since making her debut on The Bachelor earlier this month, her total follower count has increased by a whopping 27,750, according to Social Blade.
Coming in second is PhD Scholar and model, Kristina Abramoff, 24, who has earned 15,500 followers.
In a response to Daily Mail Australia, Kaitlyn replied and said the ‘strange’ accounts have been following her since working as a model at Honey Birdette and claims she did not pay for them during her appearance on The Bachelor.
Her co-star Marg is yet to comment.
