Clarifications & corrections
An article of 2 July 2020 reported on claims carried by The Sun that the pub chain Wetherspoon planned to sell 15 pubs when the chain reopened on Super Saturday. Since publication, we have been informed that this is not the case and of the 15 pubs put on the market in April 2019, Wetherspoon have sold five of the pubs and decided to retain eight of the pubs. Two of the pubs are still on the market. We are happy to make this clear and apologise for the error. The article has been removed from Mail Online.
