Colin Farrell is a silver fox as he sports noticeable grey and white stubble… after recently shaving his head bald

Colin Farrell recently shocked fans as he debuted a freshly shaved head.

But the 44-year-old actor proved to be a silver fox on Wednesday afternoon as he embarked on a stroll around Los Angeles.

Farrell sported a noticeable amount of grey and white stubble on his head, instead of his recognizable brunette tone.

Despite going without his dark brown strands, the Lobster star looked as hunky as ever, while getting in his midday calorie burn.

Colin was joined by his darling dog, who walked obediently beside him on a red leash.

Farrell bared his buff legs in a pair of navy blue athletic shorts with canary yellow detailing.

He completed his athletic look with a loose fitting olive green top and a pair of Nike trainers.

Adhering to COVID-19 protocols, the Total Recall star made sure to keep his mouth and nose concealed with a face mask.

Although it has grown in significantly since its debut, Colin famously unveiled his hair-free head to the world on February 3 during an outing in Los Angeles.

Fans suspected that the Irish actor may have ditched his hair for a new role, while some argued that he may have been itching for a new look.

Whatever the reason for the transformation, this is not the first time Colin has decided to rock a bald head.

Back in 2002, the Phone Booth star walked many red carpets with a freshly shaved head, including the premiere of his film Minority Report starring Tom Cruise.

As for more recent work, Collin is currently filming The Batman, costarring Twilight alum Robert Pattinson as the caped crusader.

Farrell will be portraying the role of the Penguin, otherwise known as Oswald Cobblepot, who was previously brought to life by the brilliant Danny Devito in 1992’s Batman Returns.

Other stars in the Matt Reeves-directed new film include Zoe Kravitz in the Catwoman/Selina Kyle role, and Paul Dano as The Riddler.

Those roles were portrayed in previous cinematic iterations by Michelle Pfeiffer and Jim Carrey, respectively.

Lord Of The Rings star Andy Serkis will be portraying butler Alfred Pennyworth in The Batman, while Angels In America’s Jeffrey Wright will play James Gordon.

The movie was shut down on at least one occasion after Pattinson came down with coronavirus last year, with filming resuming at a later date.

Consequently, the release of the movie has been pushed to next spring, on March 4th, 2022.
