And Common was among the celebrities paying tribute to the star only three months after his shocking death from colon cancer.
The 48-year-old rapper shared an array of images of Boseman at his best while thanking him on social media for his contributions.

Among the photos he selected to represent the actor were a still from Black Panther and a popular publicity photo that was used on posters for the movie.
He also had an image of Boseman giving his commencement address at his alma mater Howard University in 2018, when he gave the Wakanda salute.

Members of the cast, including Chris Evans, Anthony Mackie and Danai Gurira were assembled around Boseman to sing him Happy Birthday from an earlier celebration.
The Da 5 Bloods star looked bashful before beaming ear-to-ear as he went in for hugs with Mackie and Gurira.

Kevin Boseman, Chadwick’s brother, kept his tribute more low-key as he shared a lovely photo of flowers.
‘Today is a good day to give someone their flowers,’ he wrote.
