November 29 would have been the late Chadwick Boseman’s 44th birthday.

And Common was among the celebrities paying tribute to the star only three months after his shocking death from colon cancer.

The 48-year-old rapper shared an array of images of Boseman at his best while thanking him on social media for his contributions.

‘Chadwick Boseman would have turned 44 years old today,’ he wrote.

‘Happy Birthday King. God Bless You. Thank you for using your gift to bring light to this world. RIP.’

Among the photos he selected to represent the actor were a still from Black Panther and a popular publicity photo that was used on posters for the movie.

He also had an image of Boseman giving his commencement address at his alma mater Howard University in 2018, when he gave the Wakanda salute.
