Five bedrooms, unrivalled views and a six-person spa: Cricketer Usman Khawaja and wife Rachel list their ‘irreplaceable’ Brisbane home for sale

Australian cricketer Usman Khawaja has listed his palatial Brisbane home for sale.

The 34-year-old batsman and his wife, Rachel McLellan, are selling their ‘irreplaceable’ five-bedroom, five-bathroom property as they prepare to move with their baby daughter, Aisha, to the Sunshine Coast.

While the asking price for the Holland Park West home has not been disclosed, it’s expected to sell for a lot more than the $2.75million Usman paid for it in 2016, reports Domain.

Tony O’Doherty, of Belle Property Bulimba, is selling the property on behalf of the left-handed batsman.

‘I think it will most certainly be popular – to buy that land today and to build that masterpiece today would be a lot more,’ Mr O’Doherty said.

‘The level of finish and the functionality for such a house of this scale [is incredible].’

‘They have maintained it immaculately. And then they welcomed their firstborn into the world and that’s why they’re moving – to be closer to his in-laws on the Sunshine Coast.’

Mr O’Doherty has marketed the property as ‘best offers by June 8 at 3pm’.

Usman and Rachel welcomed their first child last July.

‘Uzzy and I are so unbelievably in love with our little girl,’ Rachel wrote on Instagram, announcing their daughter’s arrival.

‘There is nothing that can prepare you for that moment when you first meet your baby, it’s one that we will cherish forever.’
