David Warner has touched down in Sydney after competing in the Indian Premier League in the UAE, and will now have to undertake two weeks of mandatory hotel quarantine. 

On Thursday, the 34-year-old cricketer revealed his must-have creature comforts to get him through the next two weeks of isolation. 

Posting to Instagram, he shared two photos featuring a care package that his wife Candice Warner, 34, had delivered to the hotel.

‘It’s fair to say my wife knows what I’d like in quarantine, @candywarner1 thanks darling and also even snuck some @rockitapple in,’ he captioned the picture. 

One of the images featured a large brown box that was overflowing with scrumptious snacks including Kinder Bueno chocolates, Vegemite, Darrell Lea white chocolate raspberry bullets and Harvest Snaps. 

He then shared a flat lay of some other goodies that his wife packed for him including Chicken Twisties, instant noodles, apples and a bottle of Shiraz.

David, who has been away from his wife and three daughters during the IPL, will no doubt be looking forward to reuniting with his family after quarantine.   

In fact, on Tuesday, the sportsman shared his excitement over returning home.

David posted a series of pictures of wife, Candice and two of his three daughters – Ivy Mae, six, and Indi Rae, four – to Instagram.

He captioned the set of photographs: ‘It’s incredible how much time flies!!’ Not long now till I get to see my gorgeous family. Miss them so much.’

In the post, the former Ironwoman hugs their two daughters, who were also photographed together on a beach. 

‘We miss you too darling. 16 days hopefully and counting,’ Candice, who also shares 16-month-old Isla Rose with David, replied to his post.

David has been away from his family since the Indian Premier League started on September 19. It will run until November 10.
