Debra Messing dons a face shield and mask as she kindly signs autographs upon her arrival in New York City

Despite the ongoing coronavirus pandemic recently rising again in New York City, Debra Messing graciously signed autographs for a few lucky fans on Friday.

After arriving to the Big Apple, the 52-year-old Will & Grace actress performed the thoughtful act of kindness, while wearing a clear face shield and white mask.

As she added her famous signature to a stack of photographs, the star stayed warm in a bright orange puffer coat, khaki pants and a pair of black boots.

For her laid-back evening, Messing tossed her curly red hair in a sleek bun and wrote with a black Sharpie, which she received from a stranger.

All week, the six-time Golden Globe nominee has been actively reminding her more than 1.4 Instagram followers about Georgia’s runoff elections in January.

‘LET’S FLIP THE SENATE!!’ the mother-of-one captioned a recent post, which outlined how crucial the runoff between GOP Senator David Perdue and Democrat Jon Ossoff is for the entire country.

In another post, she filmed herself addressing Georgia voters directly, while enjoying the snow in an olive green windbreaker.

‘Georgia! Election 2020 isn’t over yet. You still have to decide who your senators will be, so order your absentee ballot, now, because you’re voting on January 5th,’ she said in a brief recording.

Her captioned explained if Ossoff wins the state, it will ‘flip the senate blue’ and ‘Mitch McConell will have NO POWER.’

‘Joe Biden will be able to pass ALL the policies he ran on. Covid support & recovery, economic recovery, climate protection, clean air and water, millions of new renewable energy jobs, and he will sign into LAW the John Lewis Voter Protection Bill. All of which is sitting on McConell’s desk, dying,’ she wrote.

Ahead of the election, she campaigned for President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris in Pennsylvania.

Messing also shared plenty of voting information on her Instagram page, including a list of states where people can register to vote in-person on Election Day.
