Demi Lovato stays at invisible house in Joshua Tree with Max Ehrich

Demi Lovato splashed out a cool $5000 an hour to rent an ‘invisible house’ in the desert in Joshua Tree, California,  for a romantic getaway with her boyfriend Max Ehrich.

The house is one of America’s most iconic homes and has a mirrored glass exterior which reflects its beautiful natural surroundings and while guests can see out, no one can see in.

The 5,500-square-foot space costs from $5000 an hour to rent at night at $1000 an hour to rent in the day and it is most often used for film or photography sets, conventions and retreats, due to its striking design.

Demi, 27, has said she was at the space to ‘work on a project’ but her latest Instagram snaps show she and Max, 28, had a wonderful time there over the weekend.

The home is rented out by a screenwriter host called Roberta, who has worked on American Psycho and Virgin Suicides, who writes on rental website Splacer, that the property can host up to 300 people when standing.

There are four bedrooms which have sliding glass doors and four bathrooms – the property is nestled on 90 acres of rocks in the desert.

Demi has been inseparable from beau ever since they began dating a few months ago and they are reportedly already talking about tying the knot.

The singer only had eyes for her beau as they posed for a series of romantic snaps while out in the desert together, which she posted on her Instagram page.

In another sweet snap, Demi pulled away from Max as they held the same pose and looked lovingly at each other with broad smiles on their faces.

Demi was dressed casually in a black hooded jacket with a pair of form-fitting leggings and chunky trainers, while she swept her hair up into a ponytail.

Max also opted for a casual look as he sported a pair of tracksuit bottoms, a long sleeved top and a pair of trainers for their hike.

The loved-up couple later continued their PDA-filled photo shoot as they posed together in front of a canyon, which she also shared in the gallery of snaps.

The Sorry Not Sorry hitmaker also shared an adorable snap of Max cuddling a small black puppy as they sat poolside together.

Reflecting on their trip together, Demi wrote in the caption: ‘Had an amazing weekend in the magical desert of Joshua Tree with my love.

‘I went to work on a project but it was so nice to get away for a couple days.. thank you for making me so happy my dear.. I love going on adventures with you.’

The romantic photo shoot comes amid reports that the couple are reportedly talking about walking down the aisle after just a few months of dating.

The American Princess actor, who has been isolating with the pop star during the coronavirus pandemic, has reportedly picked out a ring, according to Us Weekly

‘They’ve been talking about getting engaged,’ a source told the outlet. ‘Her family really likes him. He’ll likely propose within the next couple of months, but when quarantine is over.’

The insider added: ‘They are really excited about their relationship and enjoying living together during quarantine and seeing where things go.’

Despite the short timeline, the couple’s relatives ‘think they make a great couple’ and ‘wouldn’t be surprised by the proposal.’
