Dermot O’Leary is UNRECOGNISABLE in throwback clip of his live TV debut as Alison Hammond’s Big Brother audition tape is also aired while the duo co-host This Morning

His first ever live presenting gig on television was for Big Brother’s Little Brother, back in 2001. 

And, Dermot O’Leary, 47, looks UNRECOGNISABLE in a throwback clip to his live TV debut 19 years ago, which was aired as he took to the helm of This Morning, on Friday. 

His co-host Alison Hammond’s, 45, 2010 Big Brother audition tape was also played out for viewers to enjoy before the duo decided to get up and have a boogie together in the studio.

As they opened the show together, the presenters chose to play nostalgic videos of each other.  

Alison’s Big Brother audition tape, which landed her a spot on the iconic reality show, left her asserting: ‘Aww I looked so young.’

Dermot was then surprised with a throwback to his live TV presenting debut for sister show Big Brother’s Little Sister.

The star looked completely unrecognisable as he sported a shaved head aged 28 and was full of energy for his performance.

Dermot seemed uninterested at first, but eventually got up to join his co-cost to have a boogie, while maintaining social distancing. 

Later in the show, the pair burst into fits of giggles after tripping over their words while co-hosting This Morning.
