Nearly 30 years after donning that iconic habit, Whoopi Goldberg is returning to star in and produce the long-awaited sequel Sister Act 3.
Walt Disney Studios Motion Picture Production president Sean Bailey confirmed the sequel during his part of the four-hour Disney Investor Day presentation on Thursday.
No story details were given, though it was also revealed that Tyler Perry will come aboard as a producer on the sequel.

The 1992 comedy also starred Maggie Smith, Kathy Najimy, Wendy Makkena and Mary Wickes.

The sequel Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit was quickly put into development and released in 1993, following Delois teaching a group of Catholic school kids.
The follow-up didn’t fare nearly as well, earning just $57.3 million at the box office, though the property was adapted into a musical in 2006.

Sister Act 3 was just one of many new live-action movie projects announced by Disney during their Investor’s Day in a four-hour live-streamed webcast.
The studio also confirmed Disenchanted, a sequel to the 2007 hit fairy tale fantasy film Enchanted, with Amy Adams returning to star as Gisele.
The sequel will debut on Disney Plus, though no release date was given, and it’s unclear if Enchanted stars James Marsden or Patrick Dempsey will return as well.
