Having appeared in several magazines – including Vogue, World of Interiors and Elle Décor – this unusual home has proved to be the perfect backdrop for plenty of celebrity photoshoots.
And if that wasn’t enough to make a property stand out, the fact that it is a £700,000 boat in East London should be enough to seal the deal.
Some of the high-profile shoots have involved Daniel Radcliffe, Jessie J, the Arctic Monkeys and Dermott O’Leary stepping on board.
Former Bond girl Olga Kurylenko, who starred in Quantum of Solace, was also photographed on the boat.

The pre-Second World War vessel certainly isn’t shy when it comes to its appearance, with a deep red exterior and flamboyant interiors.
It was built in 1938 and still includes some of the original 1930s mahogany furniture.
The vessel had a light at the top, and so it was a mobile floating light house. It retired from service as a North Sea lighthouse boat in 2004 and was then converted into a six-bedroom home by its current owner, a photographer. Four of the bedrooms are crew cabins, with one of them being en-suite.
The stern houses the large skipper’s cabin and separate storeroom, while a new main cabin and bathroom occupies the top level of the wheelhouse.
In the main bathroom, there is a nineteenth century French copper bath – which has been painted silver.

The boat is called Light Vessel 93 and it is currently moored in Royal Victoria Dock, in East London. It has a residential renewable yearly licence.
In total, the boat is 134 feet long, 25 feet wide at its widest point, and 45 feet high.
It is currently for sale for £700,000, almost the equivalent of the average price of a two-bedroom flat in the capital.
The average value of a two-bedroom flat in London is marginally higher at £710,587, according to property website Zoopla.
Tom Parker, of property website Zoopla, said: ‘This truly iconic home, which has featured on the cover of Vogue and in Elle Decor, is the perfect property for someone who wants to make a statement.
‘Spacious and full of character, it’s a home that friends and family will love to visit, following in the footsteps of many illustrious celebrities who have been on board throughout the years.’

The estate agent handling the sale is Riverhomes, which explained in its marketing literature that the renovation work was ‘driven by a deep love and respect for the heritage of the vessel’.
It went on to say: ‘All replacement lighting, doors, timbers, portholes and fittings have been sourced from marine and architectural salvage firms or directly from shipyards.
‘Over a period of fifteen years, Light Vessel 93 has played host to a large number of high-profile photoshoots and filming, ranging from fashion stories and celebrity portraiture to music videos, commercials, films and documentaries.’
