In December, Hosk spoke to People about how her ongoing pregnancy has influenced her to make changes to her personal style.

She stated: ‘I’ve been wearing a lot of oversized sweaters, knits and monochrome sweats. If I go to dinner or for a date night…I’ve been doing short dresses with chunky boots. It’s been mostly about feeling comfortable!’

The model also spoke about her expectations for the upcoming year and how the addition of a child to her life would change things entirely for her.

Hosk gushed: ‘Exploring life with a baby will be new and scary and exciting. I can’t wait!’

This week, she also reflected on battling ‘more change than’ she thought she could ‘could handle.’

‘Here I am a few weeks from giving birth and feeling grateful for the pain, stress, change, and fear because out of it came something so positive and made me stronger,’ she wrote on Instagram.

Elsa also wrote that she bought the house of her ‘dreams’ in the form of the 3,780-square-foot ‘Wilkins House’ designed by architect Richard Neutra way back in 1949.

The parents-to-be are working on getting an early start on their new life in California, before they welcome their daughter sometime in April.

‘We are moving to LA for a few different reasons – the baby [being] one of them. [I] will always love NYC, just going to try that bicoastal life for now!’ she recently explained on Instagram.

Hosk added: ‘You guys seem as sad as me to leave this place! I put my whole heart and soul into it and it’s so bittersweet to leave, but I’m also so excited to build a new home for the three of us! So happy to have you guys follow on our next journey.’
