Emilio Estevez takes a break from his coronavirus quarantine and goes on a hike in Malibu with mystery woman

He made major headlines in the 1980s for being a member of the young group of actors that were dubbed the Brat Pack.

And on Sunday Emilio Estevez, now 57, was like the many millions of people across the Los Angeles region who were looking for a reprieve from their home quarantine amid the coronavirus pandemic. 

Like in recent days, The Mighty Ducks star headed out on a hike with a mystery woman in Malibu.

The son of screen legend Martin Sheen wore black shorts with a blue windbreaker jacket and grey hiking boots.

With the sun glaring down on a warm Southern California day, he also donned a brown Fedora hat.

His female companion kept it sporty in black leggings with a black jacket, sneakers and a plaid shirt tied around her waist.

She too opted to keep the sun out of her face with a brown Fedora.

By keeping more than 6-feet away from others, the pair appeared to have adhered to the social distancing mandate that’s been in effect in Los Angeles for nearly a month.

Estevez was credited with being the leader of the Brat Pack that also included the likes of Rob Lowe, Demi Moore, Molly Ringwald, Anthony Michael Hall, Ally Sheedy, Andrew McCarthy and Judd Nelson. 

Robert Downey Jr and James Spade were among others who have also been mentioned as members.

Some of high-profile group appeared together in such films in the 80s as The Breakfast Club, St, Elmo’s Fire, Less Than Zero and Sixteen Candles.

Most recently, Estevez had been shooting the Mighty Ducks reboot in Vancouver, Canada.

He is reprising his role as Coach Gordon Bombay, the man responsible for turning around the worst youth hockey team in Minnesota, alongside leading lady Lauren Graham and newcomer Brady Noon as the hockey team’s star.
