Eva Amurri shares another sweet snap of her one-week-old son Mateo

She welcomed her son Mateo into the world just one week ago.

And Eva Amurri is thanking her ‘lucky stars’ for the bundle of joy.

The actress, 35, posted a photo of the infant onto her Instagram account, where she updated fans on life with the newborn.

In the photo, the newborn laid by his side wearing a tiny grey sweater, rabbit print bottoms and soft white socks.

The youngster was curled up beside a lush green design of his name.

The second photo was a zoomed-up shot of the adorable infant.

‘One Week Old,’ she captioned the photo. ‘(a day late…which is pretty good for a third kid (emoji)) Mateo is eating like a champ, sleeping for 3-4 hour stretches, crying, pooping, hiccuping, and stealing our hearts with his big blue eyes. I knew we would love him deeply, but I didn’t know how quickly life would be unimaginable without him.

‘Soaking in the impermanence of all things Newborn, sniffing a lot of baby aroma, and thanking my lucky stars for this gift of a boy. #HappilyEvaAfter #MateoAntoni #OneWeekOld.’

Eva shares the child with her ex-husband Kyle Martino, and the pair are now self-isolating together amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The child is the couple’s third together and, despite finalizing their divorce last month, the pair are getting along amicably.

The NBC Sports analyst, 35, has moved into Amurri’s guesthouse during their self-quarantine and on Thursday, he debuted new up-close pictures of his newborn son Mateo Antoni on social media.

While Martino and Amurri looked blissful cuddling in bed together with their three kids, their reunion comes just a month and a half after legally ending their relationship.

Eva and Kyle first announced their split back in November just months after the couple revealed that they were expecting for the third time.

The former couple ‘finished the proceedings’ for their divorce on February 4, according to Us Weekly.

Only a short while later, the daughter of Susan Sarandon was delivering their child, announcing online: ‘Kyle, Marlowe, Major, and I are thrilled to announce the birth of our littlest love: Mateo Antoni Martino.’

Before giving birth, Amurri revealed that Martino would not be present in the delivery room.

She wrote on her blog Happily Eva After: ‘Birth is so emotional, and so I knew early on that having Kyle there wasn’t going to feel right to me.

‘Our intimacy level has totally changed now that we aren’t a couple, obviously, and in order to really let go and allow labor to progress (especially with a home birth) it’s so important to feel completely at ease in your body and support.’

She added that their other children will be in the room, as well as her doula, midwives and some female friends, and Martino would meet his son immediately after the birth.

When the couple announced their split on Instagram she wrote: ‘After a lot of thoughtful consideration, and work on our relationship, we have made the difficult decision to lovingly part ways as a couple.’

They’d previously announced the pregnancy on the blog in September: ‘Our family is ecstatic to share this ‘collab’ that has been brewing now for several months!’

Amurri married the former soccer pro on October 29, 2011 at a ceremony in Charleston, South Carolina, hosted by her mom.
