Ex-MAFS star Cyrell Paule BLASTS Elizabeth Sobinoff for hypocrisy

‘You weren’t there for me!’ Ex-MAFS star Cyrell Paule BLASTS Elizabeth Sobinoff for defending Stacey Hampton at the girls’ night… after she failed to stick up for her last year

A tense confrontation between Hayley Vernon and Stacey Hampton on Monday’s episode of Married At First Sight turned savage when Elizabeth Sobinoff stepped in.

But Elizabeth’s former co-star Cyrell Paule told WHO magazine on Tuesday that she wasn’t buying Elizabeth’s new ‘white knight’ routine by sticking up for Stacey.

She pointed out that Elizabeth had failed to back her up during an argument on last year’s season when Martha Kalifatidis poured red wine on her.

‘Does anyone remember the episode where Martha threw red wine at me and Lizzie just walked off?’ Cyrell said.

‘Yeah, so don’t f**king give me this s**t now that you’re all defensive of your friends and you like to help the underdog because you weren’t there for me!’

Cyrell suggested that Elizabeth only got involved because the producers had encouraged her to.

‘I am sure the producers said, “Elizabeth, it’s going to hype you up and you are going to look so great to help Stacey because you got cheated on last year,”‘ she said.

Elizabeth intervened at the girls’ night when Stacey became upset at seeing the other brides chatting happily with Hayley – who had kissed her husband, Michael Goonan, on a drunken night out earlier in the season.

‘I’m the victim. I’m sorry, are we forgetting what’s happening right now? I can’t stand this. I am done,’ Stacey said.

She then asked Hayley: ‘What gives you the audacity to attack me? And you’re sitting here acting like, “Oh, I get off scot-free ’cause I’ve owned it.” Who do you think you are?’

A dismissive Hayley told Stacey to ‘calm down’ before rolling her eyes.

Elizabeth then turned and asked her co-star Cathy Evans for a summary of the brides’ feud and promptly chose to side with Stacey.

She then launched into a verbal tirade at Hayley, standing up and yelling while pointing her finger in Hayley’s face.

‘She does not owe you an explanation… Done! Done! Disgusting, disgusting behaviour! You don’t go that low! That is disgusting! You should feel ashamed of yourself for that s**t!’ Elizabeth screamed.

Stacey then threw her napkin in Hayley’s face before walking out of the girls’ night with Elizabeth, leaving everyone else stunned.
