Explosive new trailer for Celebrity Apprentice sees TWO firings, trust broken and the knives come out – as David Genat says it’s ‘World War III’

Drama is set to reach an all-time high on Monday’s episode of Celebrity Apprentice.

A trailer for the Nine reality show aired on Sunday, sees Lord Alan Sugar declaring that there will be not one but two boardroom firings.

Elsewhere in the explosive clip, Michelle Bridges breaks down in tears, Camilla Franks lashes out at Martha Kalifatidis, and David Genat says it’s now ‘World War III’.

The trailer begins with CEO Lord Sugar announcing that ‘two people are going’. 

With the pressure mounting, the knives are out as the stars fight to stay on the show.

Model David Genat announces it’s now ‘World War III’, while The Veronicas’ Lisa and Jessica Origliasso snap at comedian Ross Noble, saying he’s not ‘making any sense’.

There’s also a battle of egos, with designer Camilla Franks telling Married At First Sight star-turned-beauty influencer Martha Kalifatidis that she’s driving her ‘mental’. 

The Veronicas announce in a piece to camera that ‘trust is going down in flames’, while fitness trainer Michelle Bridges breaks down in tears in the boardroom.

Just moments prior to her tears, David promises Michelle that he has her ‘back in the boardroom’ as he wants to make sure she goes through.

However it’s just strategy, with David stating in a piece to camera that he’s hoping she ‘gets fired today’.    

British billionaire Lord Sugar reprises his role as the fearsome CEO from the UK series as he puts the celebrity contestants to the test with business-related tasks.

The celebrities are competing for a grand prize of $100,000 for their chosen charity in addition to the money raised on the show.

Celebrity Apprentice continues Monday at 7.30pm on Channel Nine
