Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz channels Andre Agassi and shows off his skills and newly dyed blonde locks during an afternoon of tennis in LA
He rediscovered his love of tennis about eight or nine years ago.
And with many people trying to cope with feelings of isolation while in quarantine due to the COVID-19 pandemic, rocker Pete Wentz has used sport as way to work out the mind and body during these uncertain times.
On Monday, the Fall Out Boy bassist took a cue from tennis great Andre Agassi when he showed off his skills and newly dyed blonde locks on the court in the Studio City neighborhood of Los Angeles.

Wentz styled his hair long, well past his shoulders, while wearing a baseball cap to help keep it out of his eyes as he worked up a sweat.
He also opted for an eye-catching array of colors when it came to his court outfit, which consisted of black and white, tie-dye shorts and a neon-green, black and white shirt.
The Illinois native and sported white sneakers and had a large black belt around his waist for added support for his back.

Wentz’s new look is very reminiscent of Agassi, who was known for his long dyed blonde mullet and style almost as much as his tennis exploits during his run as a top player in the world in the 1990s and early 2000s.
He would go on to become an eight-time Gland Slam champion, winning titles in all four majors: Wimbledon (1992), French Open (1999), U.S. Open (1994, 1999) and Australian Open (1995, 2000, 2001, 2003).
There’s little doubt Wentz took notice of Agassi, since he confessed to have started watching and playing tennis as a youngster in an interview with the Charlotte Observer in October 2017.

‘I played when I was younger, and then I’ve been playing for the last five or six years maybe. I’m super into it right now. I watch the Open and all that stuff,’ he said at the time.
The Take This to Your Grave rocker went on to share how he thought he’d lose interest in tennis because of his penchant to get bored with things and move on.
It turns out he was wrong, as Wentz can be regularly seen out practicing his tennis game or having a friendly match, on occasion with Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale.
Wentz has been quarantining with his partner Meagan Camper and their son Saint, six, and daughter Marvel, two, at their home in Beverly Hills.
He also has an 11-year-old son he co-parents with ex-wife Ashlee Simpson.
