Three pedestrians have been taken to hospital after a tree fell on them in London.
The tree fell onto them in Leyton, East London at about 6pm yesterday evening and the London Ambulance Service dispatched two crews.
Paramedics treated three people at the scene at the junction between Leyton High Road and Jesse Road and took all of them to hospital.

Financial regulation worker Harjit Gill, who lives locally and had been on a run, said: ‘I saw someone under the tree on the pavement with a bandage on his head.
‘The fire brigade arrived on the scene with the police and was told to move on quickly. The guy’s head was gruesome.’
Mr Gill added: ‘The scene was of utter bemusement but gathered it was serious as the police shut the road off and were quite blunt in clearing the scene.’
Another local resident said the people beneath the tree appeared trapped, but police said none were trapped. The road has since reopened and the tree removed.
