They were all born for life on the land, but agree there’s one thing missing: a soulmate to share it all with.

From thousands of single women who saw their profiles online, the five farmers will choose eight ladies to meet, before inviting five of them back to their farm.

Seven promises this season’s road to love will be even more romantic than ever before, with dreamy overnight dates, luxury country getaways and spectacular group get-togethers setting the stage for life-changing love stories to blossom.

Farmer Wants A Wife is notable for its popularity in rural Australia, where viewers generally tend not to watch dating shows.

The show follows five farmers as they search for lasting love, with prospective partners sent to live with them on their farm to see if they’re cut out for country life.

Farmer Wants A Wife first premiered on Channel Nine and aired from 2007 until 2012, with a brief return in 2016. The format moved to Seven in 2020.
