Former Bachelor star Elise Stacy reveals why she thinks Locky Gilbert’s season is the WORST yet

‘It makes my blood boil!’ Ex-Bachelor star Elise Stacy reveals why Locky Gilbert’s season is the WORST yet

She was the heartbroken runner-up on Matty Johnson’s season of The Bachelor in 2017.

But despite her disappointing ending that year, Elise Stacy reckons that Locky Gilbert’s is still the worst yet.

The former Hockeyroo, 33, told her Instagram followers on Wednesday that watching the show ‘makes her blood boil’.

She said it was incredibly frustrating to watch the women tearing one another down.

‘Accidentally caught five minutes of The Bachelor tonight before feeling my blood boil watching relentless women cut down other women,’ Elise wrote.

‘That’s. Not. Cool. Ladies, we are better when we lift each other up and I’m lucky to be surrounded by so many amazing women in my life that do just that.’

She added the hashtag #WomenSupportingWomen.

Fellow contestant Tara Pavlovic commented below the post: ‘I 100 per cent agree. Not cool at all.’

On Wednesday’s episode of The Bachelor, there was plenty of drama over who got to spend time with Locky Gilbert.

The women were at each other’s throats as usual, prompting viewers to compare them to the cast of 2004 comedy Mean Girls, about a clique of high school bullies known as ‘The Plastics’.

‘Areeba’s so-called gang is the plastics from mean girls… Roxi is like Cadie,’ one fan wrote on Twitter.

‘Time for another Mean Girls comparison… Juliette = Regina, Areeba = Gretchen, Kristina = Karen, Kaitlyn = Cadie,’ another added.

The Bachelor continues Thursday at 7.30pm on Channel 10
