Former Disney star Jordan Pruitt announces she is pregnant with her first child

Former Disney star Jordan Pruitt is going to be a mom.

The singer, 28, revealed she and her husband Brian Fuente, 36, are expecting their first child together, Fox reports. 

Jordan became pregnant after ‘months of trying,’ she told the site. 

‘What I’m looking forward to most is being able to give my child the upmost love, raise them in an open and honest environment, and make our own family traditions with our little one!’ she gushed. 

Jordan said the pregnancy was ‘a light in all the darkness’ during the coronavirus crisis. 

The singer waited until receiving the green light from her doctor to share the baby news, and already has updated her Instagram bio to reflect her new chapter.

‘Wifey+Mama to Be,’ she writes.  

Jordan and Brian, an entrepreneur and former tour mate of his wife, married in Nasville in May 2015. 

‘I got to marry my best friend and love of my life in front of our amazing family and friends. Best day of my entire life?’ she gushed on Instagram at the time. 

Jordan has lent her voice to various Disney shows, and even competed on The Voice. 

Jordan sang for several Disney soundtracks, including High School Musical 3 and Jump In!

Jordan’s singing talents took her to The Voice, where she performed The One That Got Away and Hot N Cold. 

Now, Jordan works as a vocal coach and owns the mobile beverage bar The Aero Bar with her husband.   

Jordan was in the news last year after filing a lawsuit against her former manager Keith Thomas, accusing him of sexual abuse.

She claimed she was 14-years-old at the time the alleged abuse began.  

In addition, she sued her former record label Hollywood Records, and its parent company, The Walt Disney Company, claiming they failed to prevent the alleged abuse, according to Variety.
