George Ezra splits from his girlfriend Florrie after a three year romance as he admits to feeling lonely living alone during ‘lockdown’

George Ezra has split from his girlfriend, British singer Florrie, real name Florence Arnold, following a three year romance. 

A source told The Sun: ‘They split up a few months ago but it was amicable and they remain on good terms.

‘It’s not been an easy time, especially with everything else going on in the world.

‘But George is keeping his head down and finding the positives in everything that has happened.’ 

George, 26, has been finding living alone quite difficult during lockdown amid the coronavirus pandemic as Florrie, 31, has moved out of their home. 

He recently spoke about how lonely he was feeling on his Phone A Friend podcast, saying ‘It’s just made it obvious to me how much I rely on human contact.

‘I felt it sneaking in. It was like, “What’s that? Oh you feel a bit alone”.’

Meanwhile, Florrie has been working hard on her music career. 

In December, she tweeted: ‘My new record Unstable is out TODAY! I am so excited to share this with you all and thank you for all of the love so far…it means so much.’

Florrie and George has first gone public with one another at the 2019 Brit Awards held at London’s O2 arena. 

The couple had much to celebrate that night as George beat the likes of Sam Smith and Giggs to win the Best British Male gong.  

 Florrie has worked with Mollie King and Girls Aloud.
