Attached to the message was a lovely snap of the father and his eldest embracing.

Among those wishing Megan many happy returns in the comments were footballers John Terry, David Beckham and Robbie Keane.

Gordon tagged the post in Daymer Bay, the Cornish getaway where the Ramsay family are isolating during the coronavirus lockdown.

The TV personality angered locals after relocating his family to their second home during the outbreak as the Government urged Britons not to travel from hotspots to the countryside,

On Friday, Gordon goaded his raging neighbours in an Instagram video shared with his 8.9million followers on Friday following the backlash.

The chef risked further wrath when he instructed Cornish locals to ‘not get their knickers in a twist’, just weeks after facing huge criticism for leaving London to spend lockdown in his £4 million beachside home.

In his Instagram video, Gordon was sharing the result of his virtual bike race in which he competed against 2,500 other riders and shared the numbers before saying: ‘Relax neighbours! Don’t get your knickers in a twist, it’s all indoors.’

When lockdown began in March, Gordon – along with a host of other stars – came under fire for heading to second houses and holiday homes, to spend lockdown in sprawling idyllic locations.

Having thus far shirked the controversy, it seems the TV star could not resist peppering his video with the slight at his angry neighbours.

Sharing a video of the bike following the virtual ride on the Zwift app, Gordon said: ‘King Of The Mountain done. Bloody hell. What a race. Tough ride. Long climb. Tell you what, whoever though of the app Zloom is a bloody genius.’

He then took his swipe in regards to the large number of riders: ‘2,500 riders. Relax neighbours! Don’t get your knickers in a twist, it’s all indoors. What a frikkin workout that is. Not about speed, about determination, guts to get that.’

He then revealed in the 54 minute cycle he burnt 519 calories, before he thanked participants who helped raise money for his charity The Gordon and Tana Ramsay Foundation, along with Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity.

On Monday, Gordon faced yet more outrage from Cornish locals by enjoying a beachside stroll with his entire family close to their home.

The fiery chef was accompanied by wife Tana, 45, and three of their five children – Jack, 20, Matilda, 18, and Oscar – during a brisk walk across the beach.

It also came after the Hells Kitchen star landed in hot water with the local coastguard, who are said to have issued an official warning to him over his apparent flouting of lockdown guidelines.
