Handy trick shows how to make your almost-empty jars of peanut butter and mayonnaise look full again

Mind-blowing ‘hack’ shows how you can get the dregs out of the bottom of a jar of peanut butter in SECONDS

  • A US-based TikTok user has revealed how to make almost-empty jars look full
  • Put the lid on of a nearly empty jar of peanut butter and spin it closed on the floor
  • This whips up the peanut butter and brings it all to the top and works with mayo
  • The hack comes after a user revealed you’ve been filling up ice cube trays wrong

If you’ve ever struggled with a knife to get the last bits of peanut butter from a jar, you’re not alone – but it turns out there is a much simpler way.

A TikTok user has revealed how you can get the dregs out of your peanut butter and mayonnaise jars by screwing the lid onto the jar and spinning it around twice on the floor – which whips up and moves the food towards the top.

‘Don’t ask me where I learned this,’ US-based user Equivocal Intuition posted alongside his clip.

The video shows him replacing the lid onto a half empty jar of peanut butter and spinning the jar on the floor twice.

He then re-opens it, and the jar looks as if it’s full again with a whipped texture on top.

At present, more than six million people have viewed the trick, with thousands leaving comments about how impressed they are.

This isn’t the first TikTok trick to impress people in recent weeks, either.

‘Am I just dumb? Or did nobody else know this either? These little flat spots on ice cube trays are where you’re supposed to fill the water,’ she says in the video, which has been viewed 4.3 million times since it was shared earlier this month.
