Harry Judd and wife Izzy share moment they tell their children they are getting another sibling

Harry Judd has shared the heartwarming moment he and wife Izzy told their two children they are about to become a big brother and sister to another sibling.

The McFly drummer, 35, shared a video on Sunday of his kids Lola, 5, and Kit, 3, being given a note telling them ‘mummy has a baby in her tummy’.

Harry filmed himself handing the letter to Lola who was sat on the couch alongside her mother and brother.

The letter read: ‘To Lola and Kit, Lola you are going to be a big sister again!

‘Kit you are going to be a big brother! Mummy has a baby in her tummy, Love Mummy and Daddy.’

Lola and Kit were then seen excitedly rubbing Izzy’s belly as she told them the baby was ‘growing in the same place that you both grew’.

She added: ‘You made it all cosy for them.’

Lola then said to her mother: ‘Do you remember when I kissed Kit when he was in your tummy?’

Kit then gave his mother’s tummy a kiss as Lola said: ‘That’s what I did to you Kit.’

Harry and Izzy tied the knot in 2012, having first met in 2005 when she appeared as part of the string section on McFly’s concert tour.

The couple’s new arrival is due in October and they plan to find out the gender ahead of the birth, after keeping the previous two a secret.

It comes after Harry candidly discussed his mental health struggles, revealing that he has ‘suffered with anxiety throughout his adult life’.

The musician detailed how he had felt ‘scared to share how he was feeling’ at times, but that asking for help was the ‘best thing he ever did’.

Speaking ahead of Mental Health Awareness Week, the star also explained that exercising and being outside in nature has been a ‘fundamental part’ of his battle.

Harry said: ‘I’ve suffered with anxiety throughout my adult life. Anxiety can be so isolating and sometimes makes you lose yourself.

‘In those moments, I felt scared to share how I was feeling.

‘When I finally found the courage to reach out and ask for help, I felt so relieved – it was like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders.’

The star added: ‘It’s easy to forget that our mental wellbeing is every bit as important as our physical health.

‘If you break a bone, you seek medical help, yet many people are hesitant to ask for support with their mental wellbeing.

‘I completely understand the courage it takes to speak up but reaching out for help was the best thing I ever did.’

The star, who has partnered with Simplyhealth and The Mental Health Foundation to help highlight the role nature has in mental health, also detailed how being outside has helped his anxiety.

Harry said: ‘Embracing fitness and the outdoors has been a fundamental part of my personal mental health battle.

‘Whether it is in the park, at the beach or in the garden, I believe that spending time in nature, embracing the fresh air and getting our bodies moving can benefit our mental wellbeing and redress the balance in our lives.

‘I’m supporting Simplyhealth’s Take A Breath campaign as I want to help others who may be going through similar experiences with their mental health.

‘As part of the e-book, I’ve contributed to a nature-inspired activity checklist, with the hope of giving people some everyday ideas for making the most of nature and the great outdoors.’

The musician has helped to create a new e-book titled Take A Breath, which is filled with ideas, exercises and activities to inspire people to connect with nature.

For each download, Simplyhealth will donate to the Blue Prescribing Project, a joint project between the Mental Health Foundation and the Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust.

This will see 300 people needing mental health intervention given access to wetlands nature.

Harry has previously discussed the challenges he has faced with his mental health and how exercise, running and spending time outdoors with his family has got him through difficult times.

Posting on Instagram in April, he penned: ‘The best thing about running is the mental health benefits. A run always lifts my spirits even when I’m not in the mood, In fact ESPECIALLY when I’m not in the mood.

‘Running is so mindful, it helps you to focus on the present moment. I couldn’t recommend it more.’

And the hunk previously shared two snaps of his chiselled physique as he shared with fans how exercise was helping him.

Sharing the images, Harry wrote: ‘Feeling motivated. Exercise once again has given me the focus to get through a difficult time.’

It comes after Harry revealed he and Izzy are just months away from welcoming their third child.

Speaking of how the arrival of each of his offspring has triggered strong emotional reactions, he told Hello! magazine: ‘When Lola was born, I was a blubbering mess and with Kit, I cried too. They are the most emotional moments of my life.’

The good news didn’t come without its hiccups, as the couple recently tested positive for COVID-19 after Izzy fell pregnant, prompting a feeling of ‘panic’.

Podcaster Izzy told the magazine: ‘When we found out, I did feel panic. We have all been living in fear of this virus and we’ve been so careful for over a year, so it is a shock when numbers are low and I’m pregnant.’

Late last year, Izzy reflected on her miscarriage and her experiences with IVF in a documentary detailing the tragedy of baby loss.

She has been candid about her fertility and in the show, which aired in October, she discussed the guilt and pain attached to her baby journey and also noted the ‘importance’ of the conversation.

Sharing a clip from the show and a lengthy caption, Izzy spoke of how miscarriages can be ‘left unspoken’, after losing her own baby after her first cycle of IVF in 2014.

Izzy welcomed Lola with Harry in 2016 after two rounds of In vitro fertilisation and went on to conceive Kit naturally the following year.

She suffers with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, a condition that affects a woman’s oestrogen and progesterone levels causing cysts on the ovaries.
