The daughter of the Baywatch legend, explained on Instagram: ‘I deal with panic attacks, I wake up in the middle of the night and I can’t breathe.

‘The only way to calm myself down is to stretch. I will literally stretch for an hour in the middle of the night – it’s a body panic and body anxiety.’

Speaking during one of her Redefine You chats, she told friend Vas J Morgan of the current global pandemic: ‘Right now we have these collective anxieties.

‘And we are able to share the anxieties we had before the pandemic and deal with them during the pandemic.

‘It’s about being about to get through today and each moment. Use this time wisely, this doesn’t mean that our lives have completely stopped, they have begun.’

Hayley also admitted that she is using the current lock down to ‘find the positives’ of the situation and centre herself and her worries.

‘We now have time to look at the things we take for granted. And to be grateful that we have a roof over our heads and a meal in front of us.

‘There are so many little things we have taken for granted so much. Now we can finally put our feet on the ground and say, “I am grateful for every little thing that I have around me!”

‘Especially the people. We may not have physical relationships right now but the virtual relationships are just as important, if not more so. The fact that we are able to go on FaceTime and go online is a complete blessing.

‘Imagine if this happened 20 or 30 years ago – it would be a different story and be very scary.’
