Heavily pregnant Emma Roberts shops in LA in stylish green smock as she awaits birth of first child

She’s expecting to give birth to her first child ‘any day now’.

And as she continues to wait, heavily pregnant, Emma Roberts decided to run some errands on Wednesday in LA. 

The actress, 29, was seen leaving a men’s store Buck Mason carrying purchases in two large store bags.

She was dressed in a green patterned cotton smock and blue jeans.

She stepped out in a pair of animal-print flats and tied her blonde hair into a ponytail.

Emma added sunglasses and a black cloth face mask as required under Southern California’s safer-at-home lockdown due to surging coronavirus infections.

On Wednesday, public health officials in Los Angeles County announced another record day increase in COVID-19 cases with more than 21,000 new people testing positive, more than 4,000 people hospitalized and an additional 138 deaths.

The American Horror Story star announced in August that she was going to have a baby with actor Garrett Hedlund, 36, whom she had started dating in March 2019.

A source told UsWeekly last week that ‘the last month of pregnancy has been very uncomfortable for Emma, but Garrett has been great at taking care of her and making sure the nursery is ready.’ 

And on Sunday, Emma shared a close-up photo of herself relaxing on a couch at home as well as snap of some of the baby clothes she has ready for her soon-to-be newborn.

In an October interview with Glamour magazine, she reflected on being pregnant during a global pandemic. 

‘It’s definitely caused a lot of introspection,’ she shared. ‘But I think it’s been amazing to really sit with myself and really turn inward in a way I never have before and be still.

‘That’s been really nice, and I feel really grateful to have gotten to do that,’ she added. ‘To not just be running from one appointment to the next or one job to the next.’
