And Henry Golding’s career just got another boost as he’s tapped to provide the voice for the main character in Paramount’s planned animated feature The Tiger’s Apprentice.
The adaptation of the best-selling children’s book will be directed by Carlos Baena, a Pixar animator who worked on Wall-E and Toy Story 3, THR.com reported on Wednesday.

Golding, 33, will voice the tiger named Mr. Hu, the protagonist in the 2003 book by Laurence Yep.
The shape-shifting, talking big cat takes a young boy in San Francisco under his wing, introducing him to a magical world that includes an ancient phoenix, a dragon and a clan of evil-doers.
The movie is slated for a 2022 release.
