‘Not even the rain could dampen our spirits!’: Holly Willoughby dons a black raincoat as she cooks up a feast on her £685 barbecue

She has been enjoying quality time spent with her family amid the coronavirus lockdown.

And Holly Willoughby did not let the rain dampen her spirits as she enjoyed a barbecue in her garden on Saturday.

The This Morning presenter, 39, shared a beaming selfie in a black raincoat as she cooked burgers, kebabs and a fillet of beef on £685 BBQ from the Big Green Egg.

‘Steak, sausages, burgers… super happy tummies all round! Also, have a look at #donateadinner Jimmy is working with @age_uk to produce and distribute home cooked meals to the most vulnerable in our society… please help if you can.’

The star also shared a photo of the hamper filled with goodies with their cat Bluebell perched on top.

Holly shares three children – Harry, 11, Belle, nine, and Chester with her producer husband Dan Baldwin.

Earlier this week, Holly discussed experiencing working mum guilt as she explained that she never imagined juggling motherhood with a career when she dreamed of having a family.

In a candid new interview with Red Magazine, Holly said: ‘Becoming a mum was the only thing I knew I definitely wanted when I was growing up, but the image I had never involved me being a working mum and that’s been the biggest challenge.

‘I’ve been riddled with guilt about getting that part wrong. You love them so much and you don’t want to mess them up.’

Holly said her working schedule meant she had missed key days in her children’s lives, adding: ‘The truth is, I didn’t do the drop-off on Harry’s or Belle’s first day of school because I was working. I hate that I wasn’t there because those are memories you can’t get back.

‘But I’ve realised the only way that I can combat those feelings is to accept that sometimes I don’t get it right – and that’s fine.’

She also went on to say that she’s ‘lucky’ she’s able to greet her kids after school and be there on weekends.

Last year, Holly thanked This Morning bosses for ‘moving heaven and Earth’ to allow her take youngest child Chester to his first day, adding on Twitter that she was ‘full of emotions’.
