I’m A Celebrity fans insist Toni Pearen was ROBBED after she came fourth

Abbie Chatfield was crowned the winner during Sunday night’s grand finale episode of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! Australia. 

But it seems a lot of fans watching at home were team Toni Pearen, who ultimately came in fourth behind Jess Eva in third place and Grant Denyer in second.

Scores of angry viewers posted their ire at the program on Twitter, insisting that the actress was robbed of the title. 

One person Tweeted: ‘Toni was the best celebrity in the Jungle she was robbed of the title’. 

Another fan chimed in: ‘Toni Pearen was robbed. She and Grant should have been the final two’. 

Someone else wrote: ‘No! NOOOOOOO! SOMEBODY CALL THE POLICE! TONI PEAREN HAS BEEN ROBBED! ROBBED!’

Others simply wrote: ‘Toni Pearen was robbed’ while someone else called her ‘the people’s queen’. 

Another person watching at home shared their surprise by writing: ‘@tonipearen didn’t win that bloody show?’

One admirer added: ‘Toni may not have won, but she’s the true queen of the jungle in my eyes’. 

Upon being voted out on Sunday night, Toni was gracious in defeat. 

She told hosts Dr Chris Brown and Julia Morris: ‘I never dreamed that I could do what I’ve done in the jungle. I never dreamed that it would be this experience. So happy I did it.’

Of her campmates, she added: ‘It’s unbelievable that in such a short period of time that we could create such close bonds.’
